Another point, if you buy another Iglet, you can not gaurantee what sex it is before it is at least 18 months. What if you end up with two males that try to kill each other? Bad Idea all around.
As for leaving this forum, that's really a shame. People like Ig-Chick and others get really p.off because they are rescuing and taking care of discarded Iguanas that people dump when they figure out how hard they are to care for. You should stick around and take the bad with the good. If you really care about your Iguana, you would take these people's advise. We want you to give your new baby a good home. It sounds like you care about him. Keep researching and use common sense. And when you come here for advise, be prepared. It's not always pretty. If you still choose to back off, good luck. This is the best forum around for help with your Iguana. I hope you don't let your pride get in the way. Your Ig is the one that will suffer in the long run. Take care, J
