: Ok...about a week and a half ago I gave my ig a bath (soaked him in nice luke warm water that I filled about halfway to his body in the tub). Well, he had a piece of loose shedded skin. I didn't pay any attention to it, although it looked like a water bubble. Anyway, I took him out and dried him off, then noticed that the piece of shedded skin came off and his supposedly "new skin" looked bluish and purplish. I knew that wasn't normal. I just put some neosporin on it and left it be. In the middle of last week I noticed the bluish-purple spot had hardend but I still kept neosporin on it and checked it out everyday. Now this week it started to break off (the whole piece). I got scared and put neosporin on it *with* a band-aid (I know it sounds funny but what else could I do!). Today I changed the band-aid and saw what seemed like was tishue (sp?) it was white and red! I am very scared about this!!! Also he has a couple black spots on him (is he burnt?). I moved the heat lamp a bit higher, I think that will help. Just tell me what I need to do...I'm so scared :(
