: hey, i'm gunna get Egor a girlfrind, and i was wondering if my theory was right. . . get another ig when they are young, so they can get to know each other at a young age, and hopefully they won't hate each other in the future, and they can make me $, by selling their babies (maybe!!!). but any way, is my theory right? i need an answer soon, cuz i'm going to get her tomorrow after school.

You are always taking a chance when you put two iguanas together. When they are hatchlings and you see them in a tank, they are all "hanging out" because they are tiny and they know there is safety in numbers. I saw one at the boardwalk in Atlantic City over the weekend and the little ig (tiny little thing) had his dewlap out and he was already head-bobbing at the other igs.

Also, what would you do if your iggie had 50 eggs at one time and then in a few months had 50 more? Do you really want two six-foot iguanas roaming the house and possibly fighting with each other? I would think this one thru a lot better. I also think (and this is my opinion only) that a single iguana bonds much better with you than if you have another one. It gets your attention and doesn't have to share. Kind of like kids :)
