Hi Ivan,
I read your post. I found that drying the geens off lets them last up to a week. I spread them out on a blanket on the floor, blot them with a towel, and air them out, turning them over until there is no liquid water left on the leaves. Then I pack them loosely in dry plastic shopping bags and refreigerate them.
(I never feed slimy or stinky greens.)
In about a week they start to turn yellow and I toss them then. But it's better than having slimy bacteria colonies in two days. Dandelions wilt a bit, but re-cut the stems and put them in a cup of water in the 'fridge with a plastic bag over them, and they perk up again :-)
