indor pest repellent.asap

my grandparents bouath four of them they plug in the walls.and it makes noise to make insects a and rodents go away.will it hurt my ig.we arent even only 20 feet form there house andjust ones covers up to 600 square feet.will he be ok.and im sure it will do soem thing to ferrets.i hate them but i dont want them to die.please reply back asap.
