She was spayed last year and this was her first season without all of her parts. She got a little heavy about 2 months ago and had reduced food intake and stools.
At first I though maybe the vet missed some follicle and she had eggs despite being spayed. Or I thought she gained weight because I added ZooMed juvinile Ig
Diet to her menu about the time she started getting heavy.
I was relieved when I took her to the vet for xrays to find she had no eggs. So I assume the weight gain was symptoms of false gravidity and/or the incresed
protien in the diet due to the alfalfa in the commercialZoo-med food.
But now my similis has reverted back to her normal weight.
She is also more active and back to jumping on my shoulder when I open the cage.
I want to thank this forum for the advice I have recieved here in the past.
