Iguanas and tigers and doves, oh my
By Al Turco, aturco@stonehamonline.com
STONEHAM, MA - Last week in the wild world of Stoneham, an iguana made its way home to Wright Street, and a lost white dove stopped by the Cyberjuice Cafe.
The iguana was found several weeks ago by Ken Senibaldi of Tiger Rubbish when he checked on a dumpster on Wright Street. The animal was watching the events below from a tree. Senibaldi captured the animal, took him home, and contacted The Independent to put a picture and story in the paper.
This week at Corso Insurance, a customer who had lost his iguana overheard another customer talking about the article. The customer found the article and called Senibaldi, and today the iguana is back home.
If anyone in the Stoneham Square area has lost a tame white dove, call Frank Bush at Cyberjuice Cafe, 781-438-6400, and become a part of The Independent’s pet / owner reunion project.
