Whether it is sufficient depends on what study you believe.
If you look at the Boston University test, (results supplied by ZooMed) the ZooMed greatly outperforms the the ESU, and makes the ESU look like garbage. Boston University Test
If you look at a test done by Ultra Violet Products (an Australian company) the ZooMed is weaker then the ESU on UVA, and only outpreforms the ESU at distances over 6"'s. UVP Test
Conclusion? Stats can lie depending on who is taking them, and your ig should be OK until you get your Active.
