i might as well share it with you.

mine was a custom built, 8x8x8 encloure, placed indoors in a a guest room.

It was made of palstic-coated wire mesh, with poles forming all the perimeter.

Substrate was astro turf, cut in tiles for easy cleaning/replacement.

Fake pants of many kinds adorned the place.

One large tapper was the 'toilet', with Baby-Wipes inside so the ig would sit on it and defecate. Ease of replacement, and would not stink.

Water & food bowl.

One large branch extended diagonally from one angle of the cage, up-wards toward the opposite angle.

All proper lighting was put on top.

Due to the feature of the cage, keeping hunidity proper was a problem. So i misted my iguana often when i was home, and when i wasnt, i placed ice cubes on a wiremesh "shelf" in the cage, so it would melt, and the iguana would get some humidity and "showers" if it stayed below the ice cubes. As an option, a humidifier can be place inside the cage.

This is roughly it. I do not have my iguana anymore, and so the cage has beem disassembled. However, i do plan to purchase one soon, maybe a ctenosaura. I made a replica of it for out-dooor use, but a bit different of course. I do not have pics of either.

In other words, the bigger you start, the more money u save in the long run. I got all my stuff at Home Depot, or a local hardware store. UV lights from Zoomed.com Besides, iguanas do need cages of this size to grow healthy, for anything smaller would be cruel. However, people do let their igs out all day inside the house, or room. I did on weekends.

My $0.02
hope this was good anyway!
