Although the real question is whether it will stand the test of time! I hope we don't have to move and take it apart ( I fear that would take it's toll on it since screwing stuff into melamine isn't the best) The edging we put on it is also kind of weak-- where we slide the heavy doors it has come off and had to be glued and finally taped down in a couple places. Real wood is definitely stronger but not as easy to clean!
