: Bug has been looking particularly dragonesque lately, so I weighed him this morning, and was pleasantly surprised to find that he is 8 lbs, 1 oz. At the vet's last November, he was 4.4 lbs, so he has a good chance of doubling in weight in one year. He's becoming a real handful.... : BTW, anyone interested in the weighing process, it is this: We have a plastic food scale, which can be adjusted for "0" to compensate for different containers placed on it. I just put Bug's food dish on it, zero it, and drape Bug over the food dish. He's used to this anyway, because he likes to sleep in it, and he'll hold still for a few moments. You have to be sure the tail is hanging, and that no feet are touching, but it seems to be pretty accurate. These scales are available at any kitchen supply store. give it a try... : Regards, : JohnT
