I just took in an Iguana who is a little over 3 feet long(any guess to how old), I am going to try to get him a good family but until then any advice would be awesome. He was actually abandoned with a daughter of a family friend she had no idea how to care for him, but she did what she could. His name is Iggy ;), he is actually in really good shape suprisingly. As far as I know since she has had him he has only been eating dry food, so I would like to get him on some greens and since I have a bearded dragon that's not a problem. I have endive, turnip greens, and squash right now, so I figured that wouldn't be a bad salad. His nails though are really really long, is there anyway to clip them or file them down? Also what kind of specs for a cage would be good? She told me he doesn't like to be in with people, but I have him in a higher traffic area and he seems to be doing really good. How are Iguanas in that respect, I have a complete zoo of lizards/geckos and they all do fine in higher traffic areas. I appreciate any tip and advice, feel free to email me with help I feel like I might need it. =) Thanks a whole lot in advance, cause in the end Mister Iggy may end up with us.
