Ya, I'll go with you on that one as well, looks male to me ( dark around the eyes ). Jif, that is so fantastic you took this little one in, and your vet is great too! Mine ( knowing I'm a paranoid freak...lol ) doesn't charge me alot of the times, I really think he enjoys my two waterdragons, he's amazed at how healthy they are ( I think that's how he's trying to nicly tell me thier getting obese..lol ). Good luck with your little one, I'm glad to hear he's doing great! Keep us posted!

: Hope I'm not "corrupting" this forum! LOL!
: Ming is very handsome! (sorry xtra, but I'm predicting male) I can't get over how healthy he looks, not stressed at all, after the surgery - you must have a wonderful vet! And not to charge for anything - I need to find a vet like that!!! LOL!
: Welcome to the world of waterdragons! (as if you didn't have enough animals running around!)

: : A friend of mine who does a little rescue work took this Water Dragon from a pet store 8 weeks ago. He had a badly fractured rear leg. After the vet tried to reduce the fracture and tape the leg she waited 7 weeks for xrays to comfirm that the fracture wasn't healing. The friend is moving and cannot take the Dragon so he came to me. Yesterday morning at 8am I took him to the clinic for an amputation. I got a call just before 10 that he was done, alert, and ready to come home!! Today he's doing remarkably well, moving around his tank and eating mucho crickets! Just wanted to share this little dragon's good fortune (yes, it is good fortune for he probably would have died at the pet store). As a footnote, my good fortune is that the vet didn't charge me for anything, including the surgery! What a great guy!!

: : Folks, meet Ming!
