: What is the distinctive difference between an ig and a water dragon? Does a water dragon eat vegetables?
Iguanas are Iguanids, Dragons are Agamids. Igs grow to 6', WD's to 3.5'.
They are found on opposite sides of the planet, and have subtle differences in environmental needs.
Water Dragons are also omnivorous, eating both insects and greens, while igs are stricly herbivorous.
Suggest you check out some WD and some Iguana sites for more info......also....did you find out if that is what you have?
