Hey there. Was glad to see your 09/07 post asking about Shirley, but decided you'd be more likely to notice my reply here (than attached to your original way down the board).
Sorry I haven't replied sooner....things kinda snowballed, once I made the decision to go ahead w/the endoscopy and I just couldn't bring myself to get an any of the boards until I was sure how everything was going to turn out. It was touch and go there for awhile and I got to be a bit of a basketcase.
Everything has turned out well though. For the grisley details, take a look at the update below. . . .and please tell me how Iz's kidney's are doing. When I began adding hibiscus leaves to Shirley's slurry I thought "I need to remember to ask Iz's mom if she's tried that"? I don't know why I didn't think to do it sooner w/her. . .because I've had such good luck w/it in the past. Years ago I read that it's a homeopathic remedy for kidney related problems. Maybe Iz would benefit too%}
