Well there is no easy way to clean wood! However, a safe cleaner is a spray bottle filled with vinegar and one filled with peroxide (spray both but do not mix in bottles) This is non toxic but I doubt your iguana will appreciate the smell of the vinegar (any more than I do-- fumes are pretty powerful). You need to be able to take him out to clean him up anyway-- I suggest you lock him in the bathroom (bathtub in some warm water to soak while you clean his cage)
