There is no doubt it will be stressful for him. My last iguana was fine with traveling-- and we'd keep him a modified dog carrier during transport and then the bathroom while we stayed somewhere. He didn't seem to have any problems adapting. Sleestack, however, freaks out and doesn't like car rides OR new places. I have to have someone watch him here. He really doesn't even like to be out of the lizard room most of the time. If you take him out, he will usually wander back to it fairly quickly. Now that he loves his new cage, he actually prefers to be up high on his top shelf rather than anywhere else in the world! He is very frightened of new surroundings. All lizards have their own personality quirks though.
