suicide diving(long)

I'm a first time poster here so bear with me.I have a 3ft. female named Lizzie.I found her a year ago while putting in a new electrical service.I guess she escaped or someone got tired of caring for her.
Well to my question.A few days ago I swapped up her diet and started feeding her turnip greens.She goes wild over them like some kind of drug.Well tonight she basking on a limb just stands up and jumps off the limb flying into the side of the aquarium.She lands in the bottom raises her head up and down in a nodding yes gesture and crawls back up on her limb.She waits about 15min. nods her head again and jumps again.She repeats this act about 5 times.
Is this normal behavior because she has never attempted this before.
