Yes Hoss is eating a little every day, and yes he is pooping every day. Sometimes once sometimes twice, depending on if a bath is given. and Yes he does make a mess with his food if given squash or Kiwi. It's usually all over his tank! Thanks for the advice....I may sleep better tonight!!!!!
