Not likely about it being a pesticide or even fertilizer as these greens were all organic and came from the same place, washed all the same and they are eating all the other stuff i bought from that store EXCEPT the red stemmed green. I just know that if this stuff is red stemmed dandelion that maybe some igs have a problem with it?~ Mine obviously did~ as i have taken it away and poof they are better~ nothing else in there invironment or food supply has changed. It was actually fairly simple to work out once i remembered i had added it to there diet the exact same day they became Ill~ to many coincidences here~ As the only thing they share is there food~ They do not have any contact with each other~ So the only thing i really need to work out is what exactly this red stemmed offender is???? Its not like it was so toxic that they are going to die~ It just made them feel ill and go off there food. Kinda like when i drink to much margaritias and feel ill from them it takes a while for me to want them again!LOL~(of course i always do!hehehe~ITS FRIDAY!!!yeahhh~~ Sorry i am in way to good of mood as its Friday and the escrow to OUR new house just closed and it is defenitly celebration time!hehehe!yeah!! Floyd gets his own room!!~
: If her ig has had it with no ill side effects, maybe there was some kind of pescticide or fertilizer that didn't quite come off when you washed it-- making them ill. It's hard to say exactly, but if red dandelion isn't toxic than it may be something else. I do believe that different igs can have loose stool from different foods. Some here say their igs like rasberries, but Sleestack gets terrible runs from them, but not blueberries or strawberries. With both your igs having such traumatic experiences, there is definitely something wrong. A blood test and a stool test may help identify the problem. Either way, I would obviously stop feeding them those greens. Good luck.
