I use leashes occasionally when we are at herp shows or public educational presentations. When there is a crowd around I want to have some control over my lizard in case it decides to bolt. I use these home made hip leashes and have found that they work very well and are inexpensive to make. They also are less damaging to spikes than the store bought harness type and if your iguana does decide to alligator roll most often they wrap around the tail, not the body. This one is modeled by Bubbles, my young adult Rhino iguana.
