Shedding means it is getting too big for the current tux. Small iguanas may shed monthly or more. Older iguanas will shed twice a year. Shedding can take a couple weeks. Mine start on the tail and finish on the face. Soaking in the tub will help. Maybe a rock to rub the shed.
