skinny green iguana

i have a pretty skinny iguana i,ve tried feeding him all kinds of fruit and vegies but he wont get fat or thicker he gets lots of exercise.Any sugestions on how i cold make him fatter,oh ya hes about 3 feet long and 7 years old.thank you for any help.
