Now that I've got that out, let me get to my point. If, in all seriousness, you're actually going to try this, Mark, then I'll simply say good luck to you and I'll be thinking good thoughts for your iguana. As far as any future advice, you obviously know more than enough as far as how to care for igs and don't need any advice so I, for one, won't waste your time in the future.

This is completely and totally irresponsible behavior as far as pet keeping, in general, nevermind isolating it to just iguanas. I just hope that there's someone in your area that does rescue work - if the ig lives long enough to be rescued. It definitely sounds like it's headed in that direction.
