Dave made a good point about nutrients and what you feed it but you must also take into effect UVB lighting which helps with the degestion process and the size of the enclosure also has proven to stunt the growth of an iguana if the enclosure is to small. Previously on this forum a poster named phil basically proved this point with his rescued iguana Adam. You may want to read back a few posts. The disgraceful conditions Adam was in made him only 2 feet at 5 years old.
Another thing that may stop growth is also if your iguana is sick from something you might not be aware of. In which case a check-up at a qualified Herp vet would be necessary.
Iguana's grow very rapidly for the first few years but continue to grow on past 6 years.

: My iguana looks really small, and doesn not look like it is going to grow. Are there certain kinds of Iguana. How long does it take for an iguana to grow.
