hary backed leaves, its been a month since I bought some so I could be mistaken. But I know the turnip greens went over just as well as collards here.

: This girl would eat two bowls of nothing but Mustard greens if id let her lol. She goes to town on Collard and Turnip greens. For her as long as they are greens she wants them LOL. I do have to chop ours up tiny not due to her size but do to her chocking problems. Did you see my quesiton about the pillows? Below Philips post? Also if you have a food processor if you use it to mince up the stems teeny tiny and add them to your greens youd be surprise how much more you get, I always process the stems seperatly as to make sure they are tiny and not hard peices, they seem to get softer after being food processed.

: : Thanks both of you for answering my question about turnip greens being good or bad for igs as a staple.
: : In my post, I also asked whether or not your igs eat them readily. Do they like turnip greens? As much as collards?

: : Josh said that in the store, the turnip greens looked like they had little hairy-backed leaves (kind of like the leaves on a zucchini plant) and he wasn't sure if an ig would eat them because of the plant-hairs. (I know that sounds weird.)

: : Could you write and tell me which of the greens your igs prefer? Cause up until now, my igs pretty much only get collards as their greens, but I've been thinking of branching out.
: : Thanks for any more info you could shed...
: : Diana
