i have a 4 foot long, male, iguana and he's been having difficulty shedding his spikes lately. the shed skin finally came off of them, but there's still a few spikes that have the shed skin on them yet. i noticed that when the shed skin finally came off a couple of them, a couple of the tips were red, like blood, and they were soft, almost stringy. his spikes have also been breaking a bit and bleading.
does anyone know what this is, or what is causing it, and if you do, could you tell me what to do. thank you.
chey
