As a mom I can attest to it. I have three children ages 6,5,3 yrs old. It might seem rough at first but it can and does work. Please think about the future of this iguana. If you cant keep him I wish you luck in finding him a new home, please be sure to find someone experienced. We have two dogs, a rabbit, a guinea pig, and three kids, yes its work but worth it. Good luck what ever you decide. If you have had this iguana for two years maybe rethinking keeping him and fullfilling your commitment you made when you got him would be a good thing to do.
: Hello
: I have an Iguana who is about 2 years old and about 2 1/2 " in length. He has out grown his home and we have a child coming soon and we just do not have to the time to give to Lou. I am sure you have heard it all before but in any event if anyone would like to rescue him please let me know. You can have his aquarium but it is too small at this point for him to continue living in it. It has a hood with two light fixtures and a flourescent slot with a UVB light in place.
: I am located in Bakersfield, Ca - 120 Miles No. of Los Angeles , 120 Miles So. of Fresno.
: His name is Lou but I don't actually know if he is a he or a she :)
