yeah, i'd assume at this point that the paper is the reason for him not pooping according to his schedule ... if it was plain, lightweight paper, i'd still guess that he'll be able to pass it, tho obviously not quite as easily as we all hoped ...

*my* humble opinion would be to get LOTS of fluids into him today, nice long warm soaks in the tub and if he doesn't pass it by monday morning, at least give the vet a call ...

the fact that he poops on such a regular basis actually puts you ahead in this situation ~ at least it's going to be obvious if he's having problems ... (ok, that may not make you feel better right now, but really, it's a GOOD thing ...)

watch for personality changes in him, that could indicate he's in distress ... (tho if i'm remembering right, he's fairly new to you?? that might make it harder to 'read' him ...)
