I think the meds will make him less hungry.

I bought this new stuff (Nutri-bac) at the reptile show (it's been posted here before-- I'll put a link to the website here) and it is supposed to return reptiles gut bacteria back to a good level. I have started using it on Sleestack because his fecal checks are sometimes on the brink of having bad bacteria take over. I had interest in the product, but felt better talking to the people at the show in person. They sold me on it-- one of the guys said he turned a ton of sickly snakes dumped on him around with the product and he offered to be a rep. and sell it after that. There have been studies that it eventually wipes out salomonella in the gut of iguanas and a whole myriad of other positive results. I figure I would give it a shot and see what Slee's next fecal check shows.

Since yogurt isn't really appropriate (animal protein) and many times the bacteria is dead in it by the time you eat it, this stuff seemed like the answer. Anyway, I can only tell you what I've heard and that I'm using it-- can't prove that it works yet, but it sounds like it would be just the thing for you (if it does)-- it's not that much either.
