I put up a statement made by Fredric L. Frye about spaying green iguanas
on my "iguana surgery" page. Maybe of interest to you. I had both my iguanas
spayed last year. Rex is 3 1/2 y.o. Can you imagine she already had 10 vet visits, 11 x-rays,
and 4 surgeries up until today. 2 surgeries on a broken leg, 1 removing "eggs/oviducts(!)",
and 1 removing "egg follicles/ovaries".
Poor girl...
