Well Matthew they are redish-almost orangish in color and are so small I can't tell if they look like spiders or not!!! The driftwood was from a petstore and the rocks that are stacked to make up the basking area are from a gulf nearby my house. Like I said I sprayed these rocks with Bleach and cooked them at 3oo for 30 minutes, so if they did have something wouldn't the heat kill them??? I will be building a wood cage pretty soon as soon as HOSS outgrows this aquarium, so I would appreciate your MITE FREE RECIPE if you don't mind!!!!
