Don't apologize... there are no stupid questions. Really my answer will be more silly! He probably just likes sleeping down there better! It may be darker down there (the light can bother his sleeping) or he feels safer or more comfy... who really knows the mind of an ig for sure? Mine used to like to roll himself up in a towel so he was all snuggly and tucked in, but now that he is older, he doesn't cover himself up anymore. See photos (he crawls under the towels with no assistance)
