Well first of all, why do you want to breed an iguana? Is your iguana gravid with eggs? If so they will be unfertile if she has not been with a male, a vet visit is good and a proper laying spot, extra calcium helps as well. If you are thinking of incubating the eggs or breeding on purpose....read on....
Every year thousands of iguanas are neglected and are in need of homes. Iguana rescues are overflowing with iguanas that need homes. Thousands of iguanas are imported in each year from farms and from the wild, many many of these iguanas end up dying from poor husbandry or neglect, many others end up at reptile rescues in need of serious medical/emotional care.
Secondly what will you do with all the babies? You might get 1.00& or 2 at the petstore for them, Maybe, most likely not. And those sold at the pet store often end up in terrible homes or dead or at rescues. Secondly you cannot possbily house all the young iguanas.
Your best bet if your iguana is gravid is freezing the eggs when she lays then discarding them or burying them. A vet visit is a good idea for a gravid female.
