I think it really depends on the iguana and the dog.
I would certainly never mix a small iguana with a dog
breed that was made to chase vermin like a terrier, etc.
My best friend has a big black Lab mix, and her dog and my
baby cyclura iguana get along great.
She is not afraid of him and even has licked him on the nose
before.
Recently she also likes to sit on his back like piggy back.
My green iguana however is scared of the dog and she will puff up
at him when he is near.
The dog understands that the lizard is a living thing and would never
hurt her.
