Calcium (Supplement) characteristics???

Ok I know that as long as you feed an iguan a proper diet you shouldn't have to supplement, but I do want to occasionally supplement "Hoss" with calcium just to be on the safe side! The calcium I bought at my local pet store today was from HERPCARE,and when I opened it it was really fluffy, and lightweight. Is this right????? I don't want to use a product that won't work!!!!!
