Could be a bladder or kidney stone too small or translucent to be detected by Xray. I sure am thinking she needs to be opened up only way to know EXACTLY whats going on with her. I think as long as she was healthy PRIOR to this latest episode she should be ok thru the surgery. Talk more with the surgeon/vet and let him know your concerns but w/ endoscopy its not as invasive as 'opening her up' but results of it may lead to that. For some reason she's retaining water...either kidney or bladder, Tricia Powers has a really good website on Dehydration and reptiles (link below) calculate her weight for amount of Pedialyte she will need THROUGHOUT the day. Not at one time. Go easy on the oral liquids in the meantime before she gets water logged which will only complicate sonagram if you go that route, (if it is kidney or bladder stone some of them won't show up on ultrasound). Also what slurry are you using? If the Ensure or the notorious alfalfa pellet slurry I'd omit that (too much protein for her right now if she is going into renal disease) maybe want to crush a multivitamin (^B6 and folic aid)and puree fruit such as papaya only for now.
