: I was going to get a leash but i didn't want to mess up his spikes~ Plus he doesn't seem to need one~ He is kinda big and usually stays on me ~ When he wants down he goes very slow and i sit beside him~ But i don't let him down much as he tries to eat rocks and dirt~Silly Ig~ Plus I can get a good hold on him so if he gets scared i hold him tighter and he holds me back!OWW!~ He is more like a big softy than an Ig~ I often wonder how Miya and Floyd can be the same species??? Miya has this evil streak and you can see the madness in his eyes!LOL~ I used to call igs people eyed buddies because they can say so much with just there eyes....
: PS if Floyd did make it up a tree I would not rest until I had him down~ Plus i know the fire department really well( I work for the water co)so I bet i could get them out in a heartbeat!LOL~ I doubt that will ever be neccesary~ he is just to tame~ He might run at me before he runs away!
Our little sweetie Buddy is so tame but he pushed out a screen of a window we didn't know was open and in a matter of minutes he was out and up a tree. Was it a small tree?...no of course not! He was 30' up a tree. and the fire dept laughed at us. We did everything we could to get him down, we finally had to wait him out till he got cold & hungry. (live in Texas so, cold is a relative term) 3 days later our little sweetie came down low enough that we could get him on a 19' ladder. He's now only allowed to free roam the reptile room (no windows)
