heating pads

... IMHO the ones made for humans are safer ...

iZ has one on his basking shelf in the livingroom for when he comes downstairs for supper + social time and one on part of his bed-shelf in his room ...

i'd question whether this kind of heating pad would be safe to use *under* a tank tho ...

if the ig is going to lay directly on it (whether it's wrapped in a towel or not) set it on *LOW* ... if it feels warm to you, it's prob'ly *too* warm for the ig to lay on for extended periods ...

and check it at least weekly for any signs of wear!
