A cat/dog carrier works well to carry your iguana. I modified the front to have plexiglass with holes instead of wire (so no nose rubbing) but it isn't completely necessary for a short trip. (just something to think about if you use it often)

Get a fresh stool sample (within an hour is great) and put it in a ziplock! You can leave the toilet paper or whatever you pick it up with in the bag-- I know I do. You only need the feces portion-- not the urates.
