In Reply to: Feeling ribs on iguana and a few other questions.... posted by Neon Man on August 20, 2001 at 13:03:28:
My thoughts on this are
On my iguana I can fell her ribs and she is healthy especially comapred to seeing her ribs when I first got her. Your iguana should at least be offered food every day. You can not see parasited in there waste you need to take it into a vet and have a fecal done under a microscope. I recommend it and its around 15 to 20 dollars usually. What kinds of foods are you feeding? Yes it is normal for an iguana to drink, More than likely what you are seeing is the sneezes to get rid of excess salt in there bodys as they dont process it. How often are you seeing this? If you just got him yesterday he also might be adjusting to his new surroundings. Good luck
