I use the Four Paws reptile claw clippers. I think they are better than nail clippers for humans because they don't crush the nail, they just clip it. I got it off of herpsupplies.com. It might be a good idea to have the medicine called KWIK-STOP on hand. If you cut too far and the nail starts to bleed, this will stop it. It might be at local pet stores, I'm not sure. I agree with a lot of Diana's suggestions. Just be prepared for your ig to start squirming at any moment! So maybe having a helper is a good idea. Try holding your ig in a towel and just exposing one foot at a time to cut. Ivan, I think I read in a post that Freddy was your first ig, right? Have you seen the book" Green Iguana-The Ultimate Owner's Manual" by James W. Hatfield III.? It really is a great book that has TONS of information.
