In the winter when my iguana was not feeling well and not eating I put a teaspoon of fruit cocktail juice (from the can) on her food. She liked the smell and would eat the bowl of food after that.
But I wouldn't suggest doing this very often, and only a little at one time. I am pretty sure that canned fruits and veggies have a high sodium content, as well as other things iguanas can live without.
But of course the vet trip is a top priority.
