I dont think there would be a problem with a fabric hammock. There's a fabric hammock on this page:
http://www.dimensional.com/~janf/stories/petootie.html Im in the researching phase of my enclosure building process, so I know what you must be going through. If you want some samples, check out http://www.geocities.com/Petsburgh/Haven/6333/Enclosed.html
Lots of enclosures...combining the strategy of a few of those would get you a really nice design.
: Okay we have started (okay two days ago) working on Making Double D's new enclosure. I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE wood projects, im barely able to hammer a nail without killing myself, and me and power tools SCARY lol. Jason (hubby) is doing most of the work, im designing (not to well I might add) this enclosure. Lets just say that after almost 8 years married I wonder WHY we even try to create a project together LOL. The basics are built except for the front and top (need more wood tonight) and im TRYING to fix the inside right now, ive so far got one basking shelf, a litter pan for water (have to take that out and redo it dosent set right) and one ladder). I want to fix a place for her food and water bowls to set in, then I want to fix at least one more shelf or hammock thing,
: So heres the question
: Would an hammock (made out of just material) be good for an iguana? What kind of comffy things can I add to make it nicer for her????
: Okay I wont even GO into the trying to get the stain im using off my skin should know to read the dircetions first but NOPE now im brown spotted LOL
