Even 15 to 20 is WAY TO many in a tank. I was like you thinking I couldnt handle a rescue that I needed a new start with an iguana. After all I wasnt smart or knowledge able to do a rescue iguana. Please take the time to read Double D's story at the link below, i am plesently surprised and can not imagine not having her in my life nad seeing the strides and improvements shes making is heart warming. Where are you in Ohio? Ever heard of Marion or Mansfield?? IM smack in the middle of them LOL, if your intrested maybe I could help you to find a rescue place around your area.???
: Okay me saying "Hundreds" was just a figure of speach. In a 55 gallon tank I would say there is about 15-20 juvenile iguanas there. I live in Northeast Ohio. Adoption would be an option, but I prefer to to start clean and fresh. I had an iguana years back when I was younger and I will say that although I feel I took very good care of "Hoss", I could have been more informed, and was not voluntarily asked to give him away since "MOM", thought he was getting to big!!! I just need to know if I find several in the tank that look healthy, how do I differentiate between these. I want the odds to favor me and my new iggy at the beginning. Can I watch them in the tank for a few minutes and tell which out of the few is best or is it up for grabs??? Thanks for the responses!!!!!
