My guess is he'll love it. Jade was in a 55 gallon tank until he reach 24 1/2" STL (he was about 9 months). Once we put him in his custom built cage he loved all the space he had. He seemed to know it was *his* home right away and didn't care for intruders (including me) bothering him. That's the only thing you might notice...once Freddy gets in his new home he might try and keep even you out. If this happens make a point of petting him and getting him out more frequently to let him know even though it's his home he doesn't need to defend it against you. Good luck w/ the new cage.:)

: Although you cant see it in the pics, Freddy is currently living in a 20 gallon tank. He's about 5 in SVL and a whopping 13 in STL. I am currently building him a new enclosure measuring :
: 5ft high X 5ft wide X 30in deep. Is he gonna freak out when he gets put in there??? Is he too small??? Or is he gonna dig it and love all the space?????
