i'm sure between all of us we can help you out! but 1st some questions on size:
how big is the iggy?
what are the space limitations of YOUR living space? (is there room in a room of your house/apt for a large/tall enclosure? is there a large closet that could be converted? or a room?)
how permanent an ig-house do you need? (are you in this for the long haul or are you going to find him a new home when he gets healthier?)

i'm glad he found his way to someone who cares!!!
