Jess...try and do a websearch on "PFAF database".
Plug in "mulberry" in the Common Name section at the website. If I recall any variety mulberry is a mulberry,and only the YOUNG leaves are non-toxic to feed our iggies...the mature leaves..ummm sumthin about them that makes them not good...but can't remember off the top of my head. Try and bookmark that PFAF database. Its a good reference tool for looking up plants that have edible and medicinal properties. Okie dokie!
