Gonna take a guess that it's the baby. Even though her house has always been chaotic Jeremy knows the difference. He knows he's now sharing his mom w/ another that he didn't before. The reason for pooping every where is to mark his territory and trying to run the new comer off. Not sure how to find out for sure since she can't very well find a new home for the baby for a while and check ;) but if this is the problem I'd also guess Jeremy will settle back down once he realizes the new person isn't going any where no matter how much of a fit he throws. Has your friend had the new baby new Jeremy yet? If so how did he act? Did he head bob or drop his dew lap? It's really hard to say but if this isn't the problem then could he possibly be coming in season?

: My best friend is in a major crisis with her Iguana.
: Jeremy is a male green Ig and about 6 years old. Up until two weeks ago he was huge, healthy (regular visits to vet) and even potty trained. He no longer lives in an enclosure but has a climbing are and rock and vitalite set up where he hangs out most of the day. Occasionally he mosies down and suns himself in the window or on the floor. He has always been VERY mellow.

: About two weeks ago my friend Jill notices his behavior became erratic. He began thrashing around a lot and clawing at the screens. Previously, being at home (midwest) in the heat was heaven for him. You could practically see the smile on his face. He also began pooping on furniture, he hadn't done that for literally years.

: She has no idea what has gone wrong.
: could it be age?
: He eats very well and has a very diverse diet.
: She is a very educated owner, and former pet store employee.
: The only other factor is that about 2 months ago Jill had a baby. Unfortunately I don't see chalking it up to the changes in routine because Jill's house was always very chaotic to begin with.

: Any suggestions or similar problems?
: Thanks,
: Michelle
