Jade usually gets a couple of slices of yellow squash each day. I cut it into about 1/8" thick slices then dice the slices into squares. I leave the peeling on. It is to my understanding that most fruits and veggies contain most of their nutritional value in the peelings and stems. Just my understanding about it and how I do it...not sure how true or right it is though.
: When you serve your ig squash, do you cut away the outside skin and just serve the inside? Or do you let them eat the skin too? I just have been cutting away the skin and just serving the inside of the squash cuz I didn't know if the skin was good for them.
